I have, for the first time ever, eaten toasted marshmallows. Marshmallows are not that big in Poland (in fact, all we have, are the pink ones from Hasbro, and they're called yo-yos, for some reason).

But Mom brought some from France, and, as she was making grilled sausages in the garden, I found a sharp stick and decided to give this strange custom I've read about in fics a try. (No, seriously. I had been introduced to marshmallows by fanfiction.)

WOW. Goooood.

Now, flist. What are s'mores?

Also, could I rope anyone of you talented people into making me a layout? Eliza-Amy-Tahmoh Dollhouse themed. I've been trying for days, but I hate my results. I do have birthday soon? *looks cute*

Smores: a "sandwich" made from graham crackers, toasted marshmallow, and milk chocolate (Hershey bars are traditional in the US). :D

Neither the crackers not the chocolate is toasted, I presume?

Hmm. I'll need to identify graham crackers. I am pretty sure the polish equivalent would be 'herbatnik' (hmm... tea-cookie? :D)

Sounds interesting. :D Thank you :)

Nope. Toast the marshmallow, put it on a graham cracker square.(usually they have score lines on them for easier breaking and are rectangle shaped, so if you break one in half, you have two squares.) Place piece of hersheys chocolate on top of marshmallow, and top with the other square of graham cracker.

Eat.

Don't burn your mouth!
