time for a bit of Real Life News. (I will return to spamming you with Gordon/Bruce very promptly.)

Interview went well, I am apparently Very Qualified. And Generally Awesome, clearly. (I was right that learning languages was The Way To Go, Mom, See? Ha.) I have time till Monday to decide if I want the job. It pays about 20% better than my previous (current?) job, so I'm clearly tempted, even though Teaching Small Children Scares Me Shitless (I'm okay once they're able to read. Before that, they're strange little mutants).

Also, drunk coffee today, and It Was Not A Good Idea. Who knew that my doctor was right?

Picked up Breaking Dawn from the bookstore, so once I finish new Night Lights chapter, I'm off to try and break my brain with that.

I love coffee, too, sadly, it's not really good for me, and I'm supposed to be off caffeine. 'Supposed' being the key word ;)

I had great fun reading Twilight, however not in the way the author intended, I am sure. It's... peculiar.

what about decaf coffee?
When I was pregnant I could not live without coffee, so i had to go decaf..its not nearly the same, but my mind believed it was.
Same with beer..oh god, i missed beer when i was pregnant.

Decaf doesn't do anything. I mean, I feel fine after it, but it doesn't have the good effects of coffee either, doesn't wake me up or make me more concentrated as real caffeine does.

Hear ya there. I NEED coffee in the morning or I can't function the rest of the day. it just doesn't happen.

I feel bad you can't have coffee. It sad.

The worse part is there is no substitution for caffeine

Unfortunately, not. Tea works up to some point, but it's just not the same. I'm just hoping my body finally gets a clue and starts behaving, and I can get hooked on coffee again :D

No wonder, I would be too :) But a few of my friends work with such young children & they find it a very rewarding task. Who knows? Who knows - maybe if you try, you'll find it works for you?
