canon comics characters casting?

Woah, I love the alliteration that happened here.

Anyways, I've been wondering about casting some canon Batman characters that hadn't yet appeared in the movies, and yet pop up in our fics a lot, namely Montoya and Bullock.



I think I've found my Montoya, in the person of Monica Raymund, lately seen on 'Lie to Me':





What do you guys think? Any other ideas?

And whom would you see as Bullock?

(I'm kind of dying to make icons of Montoya, Stephens, and Bullock, because they are made of sheer awesome :D)

Montoya's perfect. Although a little younger than I imagine her? Not sure about Bullock. For some reason, the kid in the back of the truck with Gordon and Reece kinda looked to me like Bullock would, no idea why O_o;

A bit too young to be my Bullock, though... but dunno, nolanverse is about remaking, we could have a young Bullock. :D

Oh I like her as a choice for Montoya!

I've been sorta doing the same thing, trying to cast characters... Do you have any idea how hard it is to find someone that pulls off a perfect Selina Kyle?(especially after writing her down to specifics?). I'm still not happy with the choice I have now. My reasoning for casting was I was going to attempt some fanvids to my fics(and any one else that may want one done later on). So that also means I have to find a Thomas Elliot, which has also lead to be harder than imagined.

Still like Montoya tho.. perfect choice.

I have a few people picked, but mind you none of them match up to what I really want in Selina.. I have such high expectations and no one fits that.
There is always: Rachel Weisz which I love her in this picture and if she actually did a movie in this, I'd be all over it.

Or even Eva Mendes but she lacks the eyes.. but close.
or even Michelle Rodriguez, but i cant find any good pictures of her and she's more of last resort anyway.

or even Eva Green, but she doesnt have a lot of meat on her to be tough enough for Selina.

In the last episode of Dollhouse, there was a great moment when Eliza made me think of Selina briefly:

Ah, I've yet to Dollhouse. always busy with something else.

And I'd totally go with her for Selina, except generally I can't stand her...(i'm so picky with actresses and actors).

I'll likely end up going to Rachel because so far she's just been the best fit. Someone told me to find someone asian, but Selina isn't asian to me, i've always imagined her being more the greek or italian decent

Brilliant casting for Montoya! *nods approvingly* She's even got the hint of hero worship for Gordon down pat.

For Bullock... hmm, I dunno. I always pictured him as this big, ready steady, quiet, calm, jolly, good-natured guy you'd find hanging out at the ball park or local pizza parlor on a Friday night with his buddies. But there's nothing wimpy or soft about this teddy bear.

I have his face in mind but I can't find it on Google.

I'm hunting imdb now (instead of writing fic, because procrastination is my strongest suit), and I can't find anyone I like enough. If Owain Yeoman was a little older, I'd suggest him... On the other hand, nolanverse is all about remaking... ;D

Ooh, she looks great. Seriously though, during the first watch of Dark Knight, before I HEARD names properly, I was really kinda depressed because I kept thinking Ramirez was Montoya... and they totally screw her up. *whew*

As for Bullock...Robert DeNiro when he was younger? Hmm...

The main problem with Bullock for me is that I can't decide how old is he supposed to be in the nolanverse, closer to Montoya's or Gordon's age? In the former situation, I think I'd like Owain Yeoman, if the latter, no idea :D
