I love them. When I was little, I wanted to be Anne so badly I begged my mom to dye my hair read... she told me that colouring hair ends badly and I don't want to end up with green hair, right?

I've read my first LMM book when I was five, and it was Anne of Avonlea. Then I've read the other ones as quickly as I could and absolutely fallen in love...
Then I started with anything Maude ever written, books, stories, poems, diaries... I even have an Anne cookbook.
My fav though, is The Blue Castle. Especially since in Polish translation the heroine was called Joanna. Only later I've learned it was Valancy in the original, but still... my fav character had my name. coolness. Then I stopped wanting to be called Victoria (after Jane of the Lantern Hill, actually. I thought Victoria was so... elegant.)
Damn. Now I need to go reread Blue Castle, hee.
