Date: 2005-10-22 04:15 am (UTC)I don't want to nag, and you probably have a lot on your mind, butI haven't heard from you in some time. You probably didn't get my e-mails. Well, I made the last icons for the challenge with a sub-tutor/on my own. The thing is, if you don't want to do it anymore, just let me know, and I'll find someone else. I get it if you have too much to do now, with new uni and all, and it's no problem, really.
Anyway, OE is cool. I'm not actually learning it (yet), but I am doing a course on historical linguistics, and even though I'm repeating it (I failed miserably last semester), I absolutely love it. Our prof told us that Poland is very important for Historical Linguistics, in Vienna I think it's not that big. I'm glad I don't have to do OE now, as I have to do Latin now, which is, mildly put, a ****load of work.
Well, bye, hope to hear from you at some point!

Date: 2005-10-23 09:52 am (UTC)Anyway. I still *want* to tutor you, the thing is, with the Uni and work and all the stuff that seems to jump on me lately, I'm not sure I can... :(. And it's not fair for you to always wait on me or, as the case was with this challenge, have a substitute tutor. You should have someone who will give full attention to the challenges. And right now I can't.
I'll let the maintainers of the community know...
I'm really sad we won't be working together on this, but, as I said, it wouldn't be fair to you.
I hope we will remain friends, though... *smiles sheepishly*

Date: 2005-10-22 09:29 am (UTC)I'm also pondering this fanfic100 thing, just to MAKE myself write something I enjoy instead of blankly staring at the comp screen.
*pets your poor hung-over-ed self*

Date: 2005-10-26 04:43 am (UTC)I'm bragging.
First year, general OE.
Second year, Beowulf.
Third year, *dropped* Scandinavian lit (but kept all of the books).
Fourth year, Chaucer.
(And, um, I was a music major.)
OE is neat and wonderful to read out loud.
Bragging over.
We now return you to the Noelia G Network (NGN) available everywhere in historical Poland.
Literary hugs,
H.
